A workforce management client needed a centralized web platform to efficiently manage field operations, including employee tracking, task assignments, KPI monitoring, scheduling, and performance reporting. The challenge was to build a secure, scalable, and reliable system with automated deployments and minimal operational overhead.

To design and deploy a full-featured Field Service Management system using a LAMP-based architecture on AWS, with automated CI/CD pipelines, secure infrastructure, and production-ready deployment practices.
The application was deployed on AWS EC2 instances using a LAMP stack architecture. The backend was built with Laravel (PHP 8.2), MySQL for database management, and Nginx as the web server. The frontend used Vite and Tailwind CSS for a modern UI experience. GitHub Actions handled CI/CD automation for zero-downtime deployments. SSL encryption was implemented using Let’s Encrypt for secure communication.
Laravel 10/11, PHP 8.2, MySQL, AWS EC2, Nginx, GitHub Actions, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Let’s Encrypt, LAMP Stack
Implemented GitHub Actions workflows for automated and consistent deployments. Configured Nginx carefully to avoid downtime during updates. Optimized Laravel performance and database queries for better response time. Strengthened server security using SSL and restricted access policies.
This project strengthened expertise in full-stack deployment, CI/CD automation, LAMP architecture on cloud infrastructure, and real-world business system development.
